چکیده
The main objective of this review is to describe the bioprospecting and other benefit bamboo. Bamboo fastest growing plant belongs poaceae family. Totally 1600 species (114 Genera) are spread all over world including India. As per recent worldwide suvey, 33.1 billion metric tons/year carbon produces 238 million tons sink by total bamboo forest. In India, 50% cultivated increases maximum revenue country. has vital role in sequestration it estimated upto 40 – 45% sequest 35 % oxygen reduce global warming. And its trementous application like soil storage, biofuel production, construction production edible products etc. also one important applications anti oxidant properties, inflammatory properties This mainly describes sequestration, health benefits. article will be an evidence for future research.

Bioprospecting thermophiles for cellulase production: a review
Most of the potential bioprospecting is currently related to the study of the extremophiles and their potential use in industrial processes. Recently microbial cellulases find applications in various industries and constitute a major group of industrial enzymes. Considerable amount of work has been done on microbial cellulases, especially with resurgence of interest in biomass ethanol productio...
متن کاملBioprospecting: a CAM Frontier
With Volume 2 of eCAM, we begin to intensify the inclusion of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM)-related natural products derived from plants and from animals (1). There will be an attempt to focus on products from animals, since we know that the literature tends to be ‘glutted’ with products derived from plants (1,2). In either case, both sources of natural products provide a veritab...
متن کاملIntroduction of sulfonated bamboo (bamboo-SO3H) as a new catalyst for the facile synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes
Bamboo is one of the important biopolymers which is used in chemistry. In this work, for the first time, a solid acid catalyst from bamboo was prepared from the reaction of sawdust bamboo and chlorosulfonic acid. Relevant properties of catalyst were investigated by FT-IR, XRD, SEM and TGA. The sulfonated bamboo (bamboo-SO3H) with several acid functional groups was utilized as highly ...
متن کاملBamboo shoot: Microbiology, Biochemistry and Technology of fermentation - a review
Dried-fermented, fermented-canned and fermented-sliced bamboo shoots form a customary grace of different cookeries of the South-East Asian countries. Bamboo shoots are high moisture product, low in fat, cholesterol and high in carbohydrates and dietary fibers. Many nutrients and active materials can be extracted from them. Hence, bamboo shoots are more valuable in pharmaceutical and food proces...
